Basic Life Support & Automated External Defibrillator (AED)

This covers all the elements of basic life support and the usage of an automated external defibrillator (AED) also known as a 'defib' for short. This course will cover all the practical elements that you need to know when dealing with a casualty in cardiac arrest or a chocking casualty, with confidence. 

This course has 3-hours of contact time during which we will cover the following topics:

  • Principles of CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation)
  • Reasons for Early Intervention
  • Primary Survey of a Casualty
  • Barriers
  • CPR practice
  • Chocking Casualty
  • How to use an AED (defibrillator) on an adult and child
  • Recovery position
  • How to handover to a medical professional

On successful completion of this course, you will be issued with an A4 e-certificate via email which is valid for 12-months. 

This course is priced at £40 per person if booking as an individual.
